02 / Local app data

The app stores selected settings, calculation inputs, and tool state locally on your device so it can restore preferences and working state. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to the provider.

Only what the features you open actually need is stored. You can remove local app data with the reset function or by deleting the app.

03 / Local network

Ping, LAN Scan, and Protocol Detector require local-network access after you grant iOS permission. Results may include local IP addresses, device responses, and protocol metadata.

Processing takes place on device. AV Toolkit does not upload this information or create an external device inventory. You can revoke access in iOS at any time.

04 / Clipboard and export

When you use a copy action, AV Toolkit writes only the selected result to the iOS clipboard. It does not read unrelated clipboard content.

If you export or share a result yourself — for example as CSV via the iOS share sheet — it leaves your device through the app or service you pick. Their privacy terms then apply.

05 / No analytics or advertising

The app contains no user accounts, advertising, behavioral analytics, analytics SDK, external cloud database, or provider-controlled app backend. Personal app data is neither sold nor shared for advertising.

06 / Purchase via the App Store

Purchase, delivery, and billing run through the Apple App Store. Apple processes account, purchase, and device data as its own controller under Apple's privacy policy. The provider receives no personal customer data from Apple, only aggregated sales and download statistics.

07 / Email support

If you write to the support address above, your email address and the content of your message are processed to answer the request (Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Correspondence is deleted once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention period applies.

08 / This website

The website uses no cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, contact forms, or browser storage. Every request produces technically necessary data on the server — IP address, time, requested URL, and browser headers — processed to deliver and secure the page.

The site is hosted on a virtual server operated by STRATO AG, Berlin, Germany, which acts as a processor bound by Article 28 GDPR. Server logs are evaluated only for security and troubleshooting and are deleted after no more than seven days. Server-side access statistics are disabled.

09 / Legal basis and retention

Local app data is processed to provide requested features (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Secure website delivery may rely on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Local data remains until reset or deletion; live network results only for the active session.

10 / Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability, as well as a right to complain to a supervisory authority. Because app data remains local and has no account, the provider generally cannot access it or link it to a person.

11 / Changes

This notice may be updated when the app, website, or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version.
